Setting Up PA Server on Your Mac

To build and deploy iOS apps, RAD Studio on your Windows machine needs to communicate with your Mac through PA Server.

A. Install PA Server

Download PA Server: Locate the PA Server installer on your Windows machine. It’s included in your RAD Studio installation directory, typically found at: . C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\23.0\PAServer.pkg
Transfer to Mac: Copy the PA Server installation ZIP file to your Mac.
Install on Mac: Unzip the file on your Mac and run the PA Server installer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

B. Configure PA Server

Run PA Server: Launch the PA Server application from the Applications folder or from where it was installed.
Set a Connection Password: Upon first running PA Server, you will be prompted to set a password. This password will be used by RAD Studio to connect to PA Server, so choose a secure password and note it down or leave it blank by pressing enter.
